Hayden Panettiere’s new film, “I Love You Beth Cooper,” may not be a blockbuster in the making but in the photographs I’ve seen of her out promoting the movie she does look like a superstar. Short, fitted dresses with simple accessories work well to elongate her petite frame. Her frocks may be a bit out of the average girl’s price range, but styles that are inspired with similar touches are out there at affordable prices.

To find three of Hayden’s looks for less I turned to Asos, one of my favorite online shopping stops. They are currently hosting a massive sale with adorable clothing and accessories as low as $6 (click on the “change currency” link in the upper right corner of the site to view prices in dollars instead of pounds).


First we have Hayden in this gorgeous white silk one shoulder number from Andy & Debb at her movie premiere. Asos has a similar one shoulder dress with a cinched waist but in a jersey fabric for just about $60. The more casual fabric means the less expensive version can go from day to night.



One of my favorite looks is Hayden in Caroline Seikaly at the Late Show With David Letterman. This black lace dress is incredibly sexy while at the same time a demure tease. Unique Boutique’s dress available at Asos for about $140 is similar in shape and the black lace detail on the back is reminiscent of the Caroline Seikaly stunner.



Last we have Hayden in Christian Cota at a party for Entourage season six. I love the seafoam green color of this dress and how it’s offset with a white print. The Asos lotus dress is darker in color, less fitted and has a tulip skirt, but still carries on the light summery feel of its pricey counterpart.
